Custom Hoodies for Businesses, Embroidered or Screen Printed
Custom hoodies for businesses are the garments people wear outside the office, so the logo needs to be applied thoughtfully. We offer embroidery on the chest or screen printing on the back, with options for crew neck, hooded, or zip-up styles, ranging from 260 to 350 g/m². Each person selects their size and colour on the portal, and we produce from 10 units: the minimum order is 10 units.
Weight Matters More Than Colour
A corporate hoodie is judged after three washes. Below 250 g/m², the garment loses shape at the cuffs and neck, and the cotton opens up; between 260 and 280 g/m², it's a mid-season hoodie, suitable for spring but not for the cold. The reasonable standard for daily business use is between 280 and 320 g/m² in an 80% cotton / 20% polyester blend, rising to 320-350 g/m² for French Terry or brushed fleece, which is perceived as a quality hoodie. Polyester is not a flaw: it reduces shrinkage and maintains colour after many washes.
The second factor is where the logo goes. On a hoodie, the left chest (7-9 cm wide), upper back, and cuff work well. A large, five-colour logo centred on the chest turns the garment into a uniform, and no one wears it on the weekend. We apply the same logic as with other custom corporate textiles: discreet branding, sober colours, and a screen preview before producing anything.
What Can Be Customised
- The logo, applied on the left chest, upper back, hood, or cuff. Send it to us in vector format (SVG, PDF, or AI), and if you only have a PNG, we'll vectorise it.
- The model and weight: crew neck, hooded, half zip or full zip, from 260 to 350 g/m².
- The colour of the garment and the hood cord, which can be in the corporate colour even if the hoodie is neutral.
- The size and fit for each person: chosen on the Pekata portal, available in seven languages, without HR needing to collect sizes or addresses.
- The set: combined with custom t-shirts for businesses and gourmet products within a welcome pack for businesses in a Pekata box with a band, label, and card featuring your brand.
Embroidered or Screen Printed Sweatshirts: Which to Choose
- Embroidery. It's the usual choice for sweatshirts: it lasts the life of the garment and fits on a left chest of 7 to 9 cm, on the sleeve or cuff. It looks better on brushed fleece or French Terry than a print. The logo is digitised once and used for all subsequent orders.
- Screen Printing. For large logos or on the upper back, with one to three flat inks. The cost per unit drops when you repeat the same design and the same garment colour from a few dozen sweatshirts.
- Digital Transfer (DTF). When the logo has gradients, photography or many colours, or when the run is short: it comes out in full colour and there's no screen cost.
- Textile Vinyl. For short texts and very small runs. If you're unsure which technique suits your logo, send it to us with the quantity and we'll advise on the best option before producing anything.

How It's Done
- Design and Preview: choose model, weight, and colour, send us the logo in vector format, and we'll show you the customised hoodie on screen, with the real position and size of the marking. Nothing goes into production without your approval.
- Production and Marking: we embroider or screen print according to the approved design. The embroidery is digitised once and used for all subsequent orders; screen printing is cost-effective from a few dozen units of the same colour.
- Delivery: to the office, event venue, or each person's home, across Europe, with a single invoice and a breakdown of benefits in kind if needed.
When a Hoodie Makes Sense and What to Pair It With
It works in three clear scenarios: welcoming a new employee, a team offsite or kick-off, and the company's Christmas gift. In all three cases, the sweatshirt wins over the T-shirt because it can be worn more months of the year and embroidery lasts better than a large print, although it costs quite a bit more: a personalised T-shirt ranges from €9-18 per unit and a sweatshirt from €25-45. In December, it can be given alone or as part of a customised Christmas gift box; there are more Christmas gift ideas for employees. For stands and conferences, where the garment is given in volume and worn less, a lighter textile is usually more suitable: we cover this in merchandising for events, fairs and conferences.
If the purchasing criterion is environmental, the organic cotton version with recycled polyester and water-based inks is the consistent choice, in line with the rest of the eco-friendly merchandising in the catalogue. And if the sweatshirt is just one part of the package, it is sent inside the Pekata box along with a notebook, a bottle or gourmet product, with the band and card printed with your brand.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a personalised company sweatshirt cost?
The indicative range is €25 to €45 per unit with the logo already applied and excluding VAT. A round-neck sweatshirt of 280-300 g/m² with screen printing ranges from €25-32, a hoodie of 300-320 g/m² with embroidery from €28-38, and a premium one of 320-350 g/m² or with a full zip reaches €45. The price decreases with volume.
What is the minimum order for logo sweatshirts?
The minimum order is 10 units: we produce from 10 units, so you can order just one sweatshirt for a new employee. The order as a whole must also come to at least €100 excluding VAT. What changes with quantity is the price, which improves in tiers. In screen printing, the unit cost clearly drops from a few dozen garments of the same colour and design.
How long does it take for a personalised sweatshirt order to arrive?
Allow approximately two to three weeks from when you approve the preview, depending on the model, technique and quantity. Embroidery adds the digitisation of the logo the first time, and a large order or with several garment colours may take a bit longer. If you have a specific date, let us know before finalising the design and we'll confirm if it's feasible.
Which marking technique is better, embroidery or screen printing?
Embroidery is the usual choice for sweatshirts: it withstands washing, gives a quality feel and is perfect on a left chest of 7 to 9 cm. Screen printing is worthwhile when the logo is large, on the back or the volume is high, and it accommodates few flat inks. For short runs with many colours or gradients, we use digital transfer or textile vinyl.
Can each employee choose their size and colour?
Yes. Each person logs into the Pekata portal, available in seven languages, chooses size and colour from the options you've opened and provides their delivery address. HR doesn't collect sizes or addresses, and delivery can go to the office or each person's home across Europe, with a single invoice.
Can the logo be embroidered on the hood, sleeve or cuff?
Yes. On sweatshirts, we almost always embroider the left chest at 7-9 cm, and the cuff, sleeve and hood also work well. We resolve the upper back with screen printing: an embroidery of that size makes the garment much more expensive and weighs on the fabric. In the preview, you see the actual position and size before producing anything.
Will I be on time if I want the sweatshirts as a Christmas gift?
It depends on when you finalise the design. Production takes two to three weeks from when you approve the preview, and in December, it's wise to allow extra time for delivery, especially if each person receives it at their home. The sooner you finalise the model, colour, and logo, the more leeway you'll have for any unforeseen issues.
