Below 400 g/m², the towel dries poorly and loses body after a few washes; between 450 and 550 g/m² is the usual quality for home textiles; from 600 g/m², you enter hotel towel territory, dense with slower drying. For sports and gym use, the criteria change: lightweight and quick-drying are key, and microfibre at 250-350 g/m² outperforms terry. The second criterion is where the brand goes. The smooth border of the terry (that woven band without loops, 6 to 10 cm wide) is designed for embroidery: the thread sits well and the logo doesn't distort with washing. On the terry itself, embroidery sinks and loses definition, so if the design is fine, we place it on the border or on a woven label sewn into the hem. When the brand needs full colour or a photo, sublimation on polyester or polyester velour is the way, not cotton. How It's Done
- Design and Preview. Send us the logo in vector format (SVG, PDF, or AI) and, if you only have a PNG, we'll vectorise it. We choose the weight, towel colour, and thread colours, and you see the personalised towel on screen before approving anything.
- Production and Branding. We embroider on the border or sublimate according to the material. We produce from 10 units, so you can order fifty towels or five hundred with the same process; the price changes with the volume.
- Delivery. To the office, an event venue, or each person's home, across Europe, with a single invoice and a breakdown of benefits in kind if needed.

The minimum order is 10 units: we produce from 10 units, so you can order twenty towels or five hundred. The order as a whole must also come to at least €100 excluding VAT. What changes with quantity is the unit price, as the cost of preparing the embroidery is spread over more pieces. The exception is the towel custom-made at source (your own colour or jacquard border woven with your brand), which requires a large run and a lead time of several months.
How long does it take to order towels with a logo?
For catalogue towels with embroidery or sublimation, it usually takes two to three weeks from when you approve the preview, and up to four weeks in busier months (November and December). If production is custom-made at source, with your own colour or border, it needs to be planned several months in advance. We do not provide guaranteed timelines without first confirming availability and workshop schedule.
What is the best marking technique for a towel?
On cotton terry, embroidery on the smooth border is the standard option: polyester thread withstands regular domestic washing at 40 degrees and maintains definition. On the terry itself, the thread sinks between the loops, so a logo with fine detail looks better on the border or on a woven label sewn into the hem. For full-colour designs, polyester is needed: polyester microfibre or velour with sublimation.
